Co-owned by Maribel and Carol Hadnot, a powerful mother and daughter duo: both sharing a passion and love for every kid that comes through the doors of Little Bears.

From the time she was a little girl, Maribel dreamed of finding a way to help parents and children have a place that will meet their needs, while becoming a safe haven in this high-demand world we live in.

Maribel spent 9 years as a Deputy for the Vista Sheriff’s Department, a position that helped her fund and complete the educational training needed to reach her dream. To gain experience in the field, she began by volunteering in early childhood programs for the YMCA and has spent the last 20 years working in children’s ministry (Sunday school department). She has served as the youth group director at her church and presently serves with her husband in the Marriage Ministry department.

 

A Mother of eight and a Grandmother of eight, nurturing and caring is in her veins. With all this experience helping young people and their families, Maribel’s dream finally came true in October 1999 with the opening of Little Bears Preschool & Daycare.

With a Bachelors in Child development (teaching credentials). Maribel has been able to combine her life long experience with education, and passing that knowledge on to the next generation.
